Texas Toyota of Grapevine's Commitment to Safety and Celebration

Ā
In May 2023, Texas Toyota of Grapevine once again is showing its dedication to creating a safe and responsible community through its support of Project Graduation. This initiative is designed to ensure that graduating students experience a safe, secure and memorable graduation night. As part of this endeavor, Texas Toyota of Grapevine extends a unique opportunity to these students - a chance to win a new car as a reward for making the responsible choice of prioritizing safety on graduation night.

In this year's edition of the Project Graduation event, the lucky recipient of this prize was Joyce Dinocenzio, a member of the class of 2023. As the proud winner of the new car, she shows her commitment to the safety and responsibility that this initiative stands for. The presentation of the car was a memorable moment, presided over by General Manager Yousef Abdel-Hamid and Internet Director Tim Matthews, who have been vital parts of the Texas Toyota of Grapevine team.

For over two decades, Texas Toyota of Grapevine has played a role as a sponsor of Grapevine's Project Graduation. This partnership has provided graduating students with a safe and enjoyable environment to celebrate one of the most significant milestones in their lives without the need to worry about driving home. This commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of young adults is at the core of what Texas Toyota of Grapevine represents in its community.

Whether you are a high school student wanting the chance to secure a new car or a parent seeking incentives to encourage your child to make responsible choices on graduation night, Texas Toyota of Grapevine is here to provide you with all the information and support you need. Building a Safe Community Together

Ā
Every year, numerous students across the country eagerly anticipate their graduation day with excitement and anticipation, a significant milestone filled with fun and celebration. However, while graduates may want to party on their big night, parents and community members urge them to remain safe. With Project Graduation, Texas Toyota of Grapevine is dedicated to doing our part in constructing a secure community.

In Texas, the state's Department of Transportation developed Project Graduation to keep high school students safe and off the road during graduation night. The initiative, often organized voluntarily by school districts, includes fun events, live music, food, and prizes. Our dealership adds to the program by rewarding safe behavior with the opportunity to win a new car! We've been a proud sponsor of Project Graduation for over two decades, a longstanding annual event that provides students with a safe place to stay the night without having to drive home.

In 2022, around 300 high school seniors attended the lock-in for Project Graduation, an event organized by high school students' parents. With that, we would like to extend our congratulations to Logan Bennett, who won our car raffle donation. However, upon learning that a classmate and friend, Kieana Trone, did not have a car for college, Logan chose to pay his good fortune forward by giving the car to her!

Texas Toyota is starting out a new campaign to support Teachers and their efforts

Texas Toyota has great things in store for our community in 2015. We are starting out a new campaign to support Teachers and their efforts. Each year Teachers reach into their own pockets spending hundreds of their own dollars to fulfill school supply & special project needs. To help relieve some of that expense Texas Toyota will be launching a Teacher's Tab on our website in 2015 to allow Teachers to submit requests for supply/project needs. Please Like Us on Facebook to keep up with our new campaign and other Texas Toyota news.

To kick off our campaign we will be donating supplies to the efforts of one of our customers, Mike Rhodes, retired Principal of Carroll Senior High School and his wife Teri. Together with members of Family Legacy Missions, Impact One Initiative, Zambia they will be traveling to Africa on December 30th for one month to lead their 4th educator training. "We have come to realize that the knowledge and skills we acquired during our careers as educators are not to be wasted, but if we share we can encourage, equip and empower educators who are trying to change futures" Mike shared.

For more information on what the Rhodes are doing you can email them at rhodesoftexas@gmail.com.
